McGuire’s Cottages are offering their guest free access to Drumshanbo outdoor heated swimming pool this year. The pool will open from June to September. Bring your togs are have a ball in this beautiful setting opposite McGuire’s Self catering cottages. There is a beautiful amenity area beside the pool as well.

Traditional Cottages in Letrim are getting a facelift

Sinead and Pascal are upgrading their cottages in Drumshanbo. Their customers will be delighted with the new tarmac and lighting that will be in place before St Patrick’s weekend.

Jinny’s win again!

Sinead and Pascal are head over heals after winning the overall award at this years Enterprise Awards. It’s a busy time for the couple who also run the popular self catering cottages McGuire’s Irish Cottage at Drumshanbo.

Sinead and Pascal also received the prestigious Great Taste Award for their Brown Bread earlier this year.

They  now go on to represent Leitrim at the Regional County Awards in Carrick on Shannon next week.

The French have landed..

All systems go at McGuire’s Irish Cottages in Drumshabo Leitrim as the French have landed again. This is the 25th year in a row that the French fishermen and women have come to visit the beautiful town of Drumshanbo and its surrounding lakes.

Lets hope the fishing is as good as last year and we’re sure to see them coming for another 25 years.

No room at the Inn!

McGuire’s Irish self catering cottages are full for the 10th year in a row thanks to the very popular Joe Mooney Summer School.

The same guests stay at the family run cottages year after year and according to Geraldine Mulcrone ‘we have no intention to letting the house go! As the same guests stay year after year they look forward to seeing each other for this unique week.’ Our kids have grown up together are look forward to the holiday more and more every year’.

Not a bad week for McGuire;s cottages who’s other business ‘Jinny’s Bakery’ were awarded their 3rd Gold Star for their Brown Bread in the 2010 Great Taste Awards.
